Dr. Jon Parker

Dr. Parker is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. From 1983-2000 he provided care in a practice focused on managing TMJ problems, head, neck and facial pain. In 1992, he expanded his practice to include treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. Since 2001, he has focused his practice full-time on dental sleep medicine. 

Dr. Parker has become one of the country’s leading experts and teachers in the field. He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He has authored a number of research articles and abstracts evaluating the effectiveness of oral appliance therapy for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Dr. Parker has lectured internationally on evaluation and treatment of snoring and OSA. He is well-known for developing innovative techniques and protocols to improve patient care and treatment success in dental sleep medicine.

Dr. Parker is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. He is a past president of the board of directors of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and a charter member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM). He received the AADSM's prestigious Distinguished Service Award in 2003.

Dr. keira nicholson

Dr. Nicholson completed her under-graduate studies at Minnesota State University, Mankato before earning her doctorate in dental science from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She began her dental practice as a captain in the US Army, Fort Riley, Kansas. While in the military, she became interested in treating snoring and sleep apnea with oral appliances as a way to help patients improve their overall health.  

Once out of the Army, Dr. Nicholson worked with a number of dental offices in the Twin Cities area, while she completed the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine Mastery Program and achieved certification through the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. As a Diplomate of the ABDSM, she sought the opportunity to focus on dental sleep medicine and was invited to join Snoring and Sleep Apnea Dental Treatment Center in April, 2020.

A person with a variety of interests, the doctor’s accomplishments include a degree earned in graphic design prior to entering health care. When not in the office caring for patients, she enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time outdoors and time with her husband and 3 children.

Dr. Nicholson is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (DABDSM)

DR. MORA CERVENKA

Dr. Cervenka graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of St. Thomas and went on to receive her Doctorate in dentistry from the University of Minnesota in 2002. Her own experience with migraines and TMJ helped motivate her to undertake advanced training at the Pankey Institute developing her expertise in treatment for patients with orofacial pain, TMJ and obstructive sleep apnea. A published researcher in this area, she continues to feed her passion for improved treatments options through courses at Tufts University, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and others.

She speaks passionately about the improvement in overall patient health that may be achieved through successful treatment for sleep breathing disorders and related issues.

In her personal time, Dr. Cervenka, a native Minnesotan, enjoys gardening, travel, camping, hiking and generally being in nature. She is a dog rescue volunteer, fostering them in the home she is restoring with her family.

Dr. Cervenka is a member of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, the ADA, the MDA and she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.

DR. CHELSEA LONGLET

Dr. Longlet  is a 2014 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She came to dental sleep medicine as a result of seeing the profound impact that quality of sleep has on her patient’s quality of life and became active in the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, moving through additional education to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Her personal mission is to help her patients along their journey to seek optimum health and wellness and she feels strongly about their getting diagnosed and treated to reclaim the sleep required to achieve and maintain a healthy, active life. Dr. Longlet hopes to empower each of her patients to recognize their own value and to encourage them to advocate for their health and well-being.

When she is not in the office, Dr. Longlet enjoys spending active time with her husband and children. She is a runner, loves exercise and can also be found baking sourdough bread!

Dr. Longlet is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
